Terms of service
Last updated: May 22, 2026. Plain-English version of the contract between you and Deep Ban.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or joining the waitlist you accept these Terms. If you act on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
2. The service
Deep Ban provides: an encrypted Identity Vault, a Consent Engine, the UAIP firewall API, a Deepfake Scanner, continuous internet monitoring, and an automated takedown pipeline.
Coverage, scan cadence, and escalation paths depend on your plan. Plan limits are listed at deepban.com/pricing.
3. Eligibility
You must be 16 or older. Enterprise customers must be a registered legal entity.
You may only enrol biometric data of yourself, or of a person who has given you signed, revocable consent (talent agencies, executor of an estate, parent of a minor).
4. Acceptable use
Do not enrol another person's likeness without their explicit consent.
Do not use Deep Ban to harass, dox, or unmask private individuals.
Do not file knowingly false takedown notices — these carry legal liability under the DMCA and equivalent laws and will result in immediate suspension.
Do not attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or scrape biometric templates of other users.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Plans renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time and retain access through the end of the paid period.
A 7-day free trial is offered once per customer. Card is required to start; you can cancel before day 7 with no charge.
Prices are exclusive of taxes. Refunds are at our discretion outside the statutory cooling-off period in your jurisdiction.
6. Takedowns
You authorise Deep Ban to act as your agent for the purpose of submitting takedown notices, DMCA filings, NCII reports, and equivalent complaints to platforms and hosts.
Each notice is sent on your behalf, with your declaration of good faith. You confirm the content infringes your likeness, identity, or other rights you hold.
We cannot guarantee removal. Platforms make the final decision. Median timelines on tier-1 platforms are published at deepban.com/features/takedowns.
7. UAIP partners
AI providers that integrate UAIP query consent rules in real time. We are not responsible for content produced by providers that have not integrated, or for content produced before your rules were registered.
8. Intellectual property
You retain all rights to your identity data, consent rules, and uploaded content. You grant Deep Ban a limited licence to process them solely to operate the service.
Deep Ban retains all rights in the platform, software, and brand.
9. Confidentiality
Each party will keep the other party's non-public information confidential and use it only to perform under these Terms.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate the service for breach of these Terms, unpaid invoices, or to comply with law. We will give reasonable notice except where immediate action is required to protect users.
On termination you can export your data for 30 days, after which it is deleted in line with the Privacy Policy.
11. Warranties and disclaimers
We provide the service on a commercially reasonable best-effort basis. Except as expressly stated, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deep Ban's aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for content posted by third parties.
13. Indemnity

14. Governing law
